    I may be on an island for this one, but the OVER at 7.5 (-110) is one of the betters plays for me today. You've got big ticket starters in Sabathia and Verlander which most people will assume = pitcher's duel.

    However ...

    Sabathia's road starts: 4 overs, 2 unders
    Verlander's home starts: 7 overs, 1 under

    And ...

    Two match-ups between these two teams with these two starters already this year have gone to 9 runs and 16 runs respectively. So, OVER I go on this one.

    Careful, the HP ump is Doug Eddings, probably the most clear-cut strong under-trending ump in the majors. the line opened at 8.5 at favorite odds, and dived down to 7.5, for a reason. It may squeak over 7.5, sure, but it's not likely to be easy.
