Does anyone get this? He's got the balance of a 17m contract for this year, AND he's only pitching a 5.5 ERA for this year...PLUS, the Orioles are 6.5 games out of the wild card, and their best starter (Bundy) has a 4.5 ERA. Why are they not selling instead of buying? The good part of the deal IMO is that Hyun-Soo Kim will likely actually see the field in Philly since he has basically been riding the bench this year (no fault of his own but Mancini has broken out and become one of if not the best hitter for the O's).
