    Quintana to the Cubs

Cubs acquire Jose Quintana from the White Sox

    MLB 2 hours ago
The White Sox ace pitcher is heading to his crosstown rivals in exchange for outfielder Eloy Jimenez, pitcher Dylan Cease, infielder Bryant Flete and first baseman Matt Rose. Quintana had a slow start to the season before returning to form in June with a 1.78 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 30.1 innings.

    Looking at the detz
    Not a bad looking trade.

Much better than getting a more expensive, Justin Verlander, which they were looking at.

Getting Quintana through 2018 with options in 2019,2020
Sox get 4 'top prospects'-so at least one of them has to be worth in in the show by next year, right?

Milwaukee might be pressured to do something to maintain the division lead

We've got 9 of the top 100 prospects now ... good deal for both teams, I'm happy that the Cubs paid up. Quintana is still a very underrated pitcher. I hope the wait for us Sox fans is only 2 years or so ... we'll see
