    go by # of pitches for prior game or two, you can rule people out that way.

    rule out 2 guys out of 7-8 - what to do with the other 4-5 left?

    and quite often same relief stays for 2 games in a row

    Pull out your crystal ball then. Not every team has that many middle relievers and a reliever isn't going to pitch two games in a row if he threw a high # pitches the day before or a high number over a few games. And if they are playing a team that sucks vs lefties, they will prolly try to throw a lefty ,etc... the rest depends on the game situation, no way to predict that.

    I just started this thread to convince myself I was right before - there is no way to safely predict the bullpen
