2017 Yankees- How will they fare?

Odds suggest they might get a wildcard spot. Some good young talent. Torres will be a star. Will Sanchez duplicate the success of last year?

Girardi best manager in the game.

Gigi Gorgeous will be one of best fantasy surprise this year from the SS. The team as a whole needs starting pitching if they want to make playoffs.

They will struggle to get to 80 wins. That rotation just is too questionable. Also suspect Sanchez to come back to earth.

They will compete for the AL East, better D and lots of young talent. I think they grab at least a Wild Card

can't begin to imagine which AL east team will finish behind them. never mind rest of AL in regards to a wild card slot. this team is toast. these are not your father's or grandfather's yankees. a 12-18 start will doom them to the cellar by may. continue to stare at those empty 3000.00 seats around the dugout if you must. but no one (or corporation) is going to pay 3000.00 for a seat to a baseball game, especially this joke of a team.

Lets see, the Yanks are not better than the Red Sox, Toronto, Cleveland, Texas and not better than Astros. That means no wild card this year. Seattle,Detroit, Baltimore and KC also are more than likely better squads. Chances are slim and none!

they should move all their high priced players and start over. garner all the prospects that they can so maybe in 3 or 4 years if they haven't seceded from the AL they might be in contention for a wild card spot into august. much worse team than the 65-75 yankees were. bailed themselves out of that dark period with free agents.

What are you talking about?? They did all of that last season and now have the best or 2nd best farm system in the MLB

They have a great future and will be ready to compete in 2018....Next season they can fight for a wild card and might add a starter if they're in the hunt

highly unlikely, but possible. team is a mess. only a miracle will get them to 72 wins. need to get rid of ellsbury who cannot even throw a ball to 2nd base.

Were you paying attention all of last season when they aquired a shitload of top prospects?

Google top MLB farm systems and the Yankees are top 3 everywhere

I don't see how the team is a mess at all

They will be atleast a .500 team

    72 wins is a joke

They punted on the season last year and still almost took a wild card spot. This team didn't get worse, they can win 80+ games... depends on how strong the rest of the east is. Put them in another division and they might win 90 games.

This will be a rebuilding year. Spotty starting pitching and almost a completely different bullpen from the start of last year.
