I truly hope you are correct LB. Indians are simply easier to cheer for.

Cubs seem to believe this series was predetermined.

The Cubs have been favored way too much and way too often every single game of this series. This is just another example.

I'll be on Tribe +1.5 and ML

Its not a regular season game, its not really Arrieta vs Tomlin,. Its Arrietta and chapman who just pitched over 42 pitches on sunday vs Tomlin, Miller, Shaw, Cody Allen and maybe Salazar for an inning or two. Francona is one of the best bullpen managers in baseball

Miller has been going two innings to 2.5 innings in postseason. If Indians are ahead and hand the ball to miller and allen, its over for the cubs. This indian pitching is phenomenal, tomlin has been a beast in the postseason as well

Tomlin on short rest against Arrieta. No way he pitches as well he was on an emotional high and there will be a crash. Not to mention MLB will definitely want a game 7 with Kluber

Tomlin was on long rest (12 days) before his game 3 start, plus he only the 58 pitches game 3 - I don't think the short rest will affect him at all. With that said, I'm pretty sure laker hasn't hit a bet I've looked at in the past month, so I'm sure Cubs are the play here.

Arrieta has been so pedestrian lately...maybe above average but not where he was a year ago. I see this as a 50/50 game, though the lines tell a different story. Going with Cleveland.

    I agree with LB.

If Bauer didn't deviate from the gameplan and try to get fancy in game 5, we wouldn't even be talking about a game six.

Expecting Arrieta to pitch two lights out games on the road in this series is expecting too much from him. Unless Tomlin has a melt down Tribe clinches tonight.

But you're expecting Tomlin to throw a second lights out game on short rest? Jake Arrieta is a Cy Young winner and a competitor with elite stuff. Tomlin is just a guy.

Cubs (-152) @ Indians (+142): 62 percent tickets, 68 percent of money on Cleveland tonight - William Hill. Lopsided action on under.

exactly, the indians could have swept the cubs easily at home and won this, cubs were throwing freaking chapman for close to three innings and still barely hung on. making a wager based on arrieta and tomlins numbers are crazy, these teams have 2 games left. all men on deck

you could see miller for 2-3 innings, salazar for a few innings , shaw and cody allen pitching alot of pitches. that miller/shaw/ allen is one of the best bullpens I have seen since the days of the brad lidge, Dotel and billy wagner from the 2003 astros or the 2010 postseason giants with brian wilson and company

Andrew miller is basically unhittable , Cody allen has given up all of one run in september and october. very tough to beat cleveland at progressive as well.

Didn't Fowler homer off Miller last game. He wiggled out another one. He's really good. He's not unhittable.

Lastnight my sports book graded a winning wager as a loss....I sent them an email but haven't heard back yet. This has never happened to me before and I've been with them for years so idk but not cool. They need to correct it.

That was the only run he gave up in October and that was in a game where they were up 7-1, Cody allen has only given up one run in the last two months

I am betting on tomlin but also betting on a well rested miller , cody allen, shaw, even salazar getting in there at first sign of trouble. Miller could easily go 2-2.5 innings and hand it over to cody allen. thats a pretty brutal combo. cubs are young and desperate and will swing at alot of bad pitches . tomlin has been a beast in postseason, not worried about 3 days as he is not a high velocity fastball guy, cutters, curveballs, fastball in the upper 80s.

I just hope he keeps it close in the first five and I think Indians are in drivers seat, chapman threw a ton of pitches

Tomlin goes 4 or 5 innings and hands ball off to miller and shaw or even the closer cody allen and I am pretty confident. Miller is amazing to watch
