John Lackey Is Nothing More Than A Washed Up Turd

Does anyone factor in this turd's age? Late in the season... old...

Guy just doesn't have it in my book.

Chicago better get some long relief ready in this game.... you can't trust him.

If LA's batters are patient... and take pitches... Lackey throws nothing but BALL JUNK. He hopes you swing at everything outside the strike zone.

He doesn't have great stuff at all.

Hard to believe the Cubs are going to fall apart? But... it's the beginning of the end.

Especially if you put any part of your bankroll on Lackey tonight.

He's a year older than Hill.

Young vs. old in this game for sure. I'd trust the vet more here. He has owned the Dodgers. Overall, he's had a gone season. But don't expect him to go 8 innings. Maddon just looking for 5 or 6 strong and will go to pen anytime needed. This game likely decided in bullpen.

My heart wants the Cubs to win. I think Chicago needs a Championship. But allowing Lackey to pitch this game.... oooooooooooo brother. I'd sit him down.

If I was batting against Lackey... I wouldn't swing at any pitch. Of course I probably couldn't hit the fukking ball anyways... but I guarantee he throws me 4 balls before he throws me 3 strikes.

his numbers vs lefties are not bad.....he doesn't walk many, few steal....with RISP hitters BA is .189

he is a veteran.....if cubs can't give him more than 3 runs of support....then it wouldn't matter who was throwing tonight

^Both pitchers are suspect StevieN - but Urias at home should help bring out his best, oh and the way the Cubs aren't hitting the ball lately it's just damn hard to not play the Dodgers again tonight based on that....

Maybe the over finally hits tonight???... Seems like every game goes under in these playoffs though.. I'm afraid to play the O/U's now..

I'm on the dodgers myself tonight again but not extremely confident..

Fascinating observation from one of the Cubs' people about last night. First time all season the Cubs went through all nine innings without a high-five - since there was nothing to celebrate!

The wealthy turd gave up 3 runs in 7 innings in his last outing on the road in SF... He could get roughed up tonight..

Public pounding the Cubs. Yet the line moves in favor of the Dodgers. Interesting to see how it plays out.

Lackey has more postseason starts than Urias has starts. The kid is gonna shat all over himself. Look for him to walk a lot of Cubs.

Jason Heyward sucks. What a dumbass signing that was. Epstein did the same thing in Boston when he signed that scrub Carl Crawford.

    Too funny.
Not even a second after his last at-bat I said to myself "What were the Cubs thinking when they signed him?"

I have to admit (and it hurts me to say this) I drank the Heyward kool-ade when he was in Atlanta.

Cards loved him too. They were all pissed when he left.

This post season between all the games, worst hitting of all time. Pitchers missing with pitches right down the middle and no one can even put one in play. Every pitcher whether washed up or rookie looks like a hall of famer. Every game literally a absolute snooze fest.

I agree Nasher...not only that, but it also looks like Urias might have a mild case of down syndrome.

No $ on this game but that was safe to me. Sorry for dodger backers but mlb may want Cubs to advance after seeing that
