Nats beat the Cubs if they meet in the playoffs.

The Cubs batters swing and miss too much. Scherzer and Strasburg will be too much in a series for them.

Cubs favorite to win it all and people poured money on them? Lol

This is similar to people taking the Warriors against the field.

Harper is the most over rated player in MLB. Trout is just simply better all around and Donaldson is climbing with his average, his power stats are far superior. Some of those kids from Colorado can Play, and on & on.
I love " Mad Max " but those 26 dingers could be dangerous and don't even get me started on that overgrown over hyped, too tall crybaby Strasburg. LOL.
Just my 2 cents of venting, they will choke it away, and so will Chicago.

    We agree...sorta.

I'm just saying the Cubs won't win the World Series. I think the Nats are equipped to beat them.

    Nats are losers.

You are right in theory, though.

If Cubs bullpen is healthy there's is much better than Nationals
    Cubs offense>Harper and Murphy
    Cubs starters>Nationals starters

Over 1000 games Cubs win more than Nationals. But, it's not tough for any MLB team to win 4 out of 7 against another team. 3 out of 5 even more of a crapshoot which Cubs will have to get through the Giants or Cardinals. Best team doesn't win in MLB most years it's like March Madness.

Was just talking with someone about this the other day.
Any guesses on the series line with these two?
    LT, you out there ?
Books have a lot of Cubs exposure and I would think they would be a pretty decent size favorite.

Rangers will win the World Series on Game 7 on 11/2.

Thats your script. Just like Cleveland was.

Don't try and be a brain surgeon. But if you are, kindly tell me why the hell baseball is being played in November. For Christ Sake.

It's threads like these that make me log on instead of lurk. There is a team leading their division in the NL who also will be getting back the best pitcher in baseball in a week or so. In the time he was off the team learned how to win without him. I know Kershaw historically sucks in the playoffs but with rest this year he will likely not fade in October. Your LA Dodgers will be the team the Cubs may stumble on.

    LA is another capable team.

Don't sleep on the Giants either.

The Cubs aren't going to run through the playoffs like they did the regular season

Nats are losers, I just can't trust them when it matters most.

If the Giants can make it, I like their chances for obvious reasons. Pence is finally back. Moore is pitching well, giving them a potentially great rotation for playoffs with Madbum and Cueto.

Until Kershaw shows he's healthy, AND can pitch in a playoff game, I can't take that team too seriously.

I like the Mets if they can make the playoffs. Pitching always dominates in the playoffs and they got it.

Everything still points towards the Cubs coming out. I still think they do. Curious to see how they put together their playoff rotation with Arietta being just okay and Hendricks being the next Cy Young.

AL is wide open too. If Salazar can get back on track, I like the Indians to come out the AL.

Cubs have a ton of comeback victories this season, don't discount that. It breeds a certain type of mentality. I still think their occasional offensive struggles may harm them. And Arrieta and Hammel are capable of falling apart mentally at any time.
