they got a good feeling this time.  I guess good for them as cheapest way to replace Wright.

Wonder if this is the first times two teams have traded the same player in a single year twice.

Kelly Johnson was good for a month a long long time ago when he was with the Rays. Since then he has been traded around like a rag doll. He is no contact hitter. The high-low trajectory of his swing does not bode well for the Mets. A home-run hitting team getting another one of their kind. That's all this is. Moving on. Mets are not going back to the World Series.

The Mets could've done a hell of a lot better than that! Why not get a player you can actually keep? Nunez of the last place twins would've been perfect. Yangervis Solarte who plays anywhere in the infield except catcher is only 28 and can field as well as hit. The last place Padres would easily part with him for a minor league player. Instead the cheap ass Wilpons looking for a cheap way rather than a winning way. Wright is done, Mets need to accept that fact. Why not get your future 3rd baseman now, Solarte fits that need perfectly. They will have to eat his contract, unless there is a buyout in there somewhere. Next year trade him to an American league team to strictly DH and get a minor leaguer. If that can't happen, just release him and eat it!!!
