    1 Under all DAY!

    This is unreal.
How Juiced Is The ball? Or how terribly bad are pitching staffs?

This season picking and Under is pretty much a needle in a haystack.

Thought for sure Texas game would go Under 9 and even closed at -135.

I think Unders still pretty strong when Quintana or Tanaka starts...may times Kershaw too.

KC - CLE? That was my #2 choice.

So much can happen in 9 innings I guess.
Just don't remember it being so lopsided toward Overs...not like it's really hot weather either.

A little birdie told me that MLB has made some major modifications to the physical structure of the ball being used this year due to dropping TV ratings for baseball. More rubbery inside = More bounce off the bat = More hits and home runs.

I watched a few MLB batting practices this year. Players who aren't home-run hitters seem to be knocking everything into the stands during batting practice. Heck, Jose Iglesias of the Detroit Tigers hit a home run off Scherzer during his epic 20-strikeouts record breaking game this year. I did not see Jose Iglesias hit ONE home run during his batting practices in previous years. This year, he is hitting home runs off Scherzer at Nationals park during his 20-strikeout game. Home-runs do not have to be hit clean anymore. Even if it is off by a grain that rubber ball is leaving the park.

    Good to know Inside Man.
I figured pitching isn't getting worse, but hitters getting an edge somehow.
I thought hardest thing in all of sports was to hit a baseball.
Maybe we need to specify...off MadBum and Kershaw

You are right about "was." This year Bartolo Colon hit his first career home run after spending 19 years in the majors. Padres ownership group and management probably do not know about the new rubber balls being used this year. So they traded James Shields for giving up that home run to Bartolo Colon. Too funny!
