Guys, what is the best chase system for baseball?

    Talk to me.

    I'm already sick of baseball.

Home teams to avoid sweep on Sundays is pretty good.

That's not really a chase system.

If you lose your first bet, double down on the second. If the second bet loses, triple down on third bet and so on and son the giant.

    Double header chase:

Bet first game over, if lose chase on second over.

Will come out +units every year

You just posted a 4k arb, why would you now start martingaling? Your best bet is to let me pm you my plays and just bet the other side, I bet 2k on Kansas for reference.

    Interesting.

    What's the logic? Tired bullpens?

I always thought the play was just to fade the winner of the first game.

My reasoning is this. I bet on Seattle today, when they were ahead 3-0. I laid -375. I won, but in retrospect it was very, very stupid.

I'd rather not have to think when betting on baseball. There are just too many games, it's so monotonous.

    I like this one.

It's got to be difficult to sweep someone in four games on the road.

    Gray tonight, Graveland tomorrow.

I really like the sound of this one, LK. Thanks.

there's nothing out there though. you can make up your own rules and lose just as easily.

there's one in the baseball forum actually, it might be kinda decent but you would need to scale your units accordingly, like 1% or .5% because there will be losses. basically any team that opens at -145 or higher in the first game of a series is a play on that team for the series. assuming i read it right. kid said it profited 42 units last year. i don't remember what the thread is called but i saw it a few days ago.

i know offhand that the cubs took a brutal sweep at home to the phillies last year, and their lines on the three games were like -225, -210, -180 with their top three pitchers going. i would be willing to bet that was the worst loss, but if you can handle it, that might be one to mess around with.

I would think the problem might be if a bad team has a great pitcher starting the opener, and then you're stuck chasing with said team. I'd like to read about it though.

Link me if you find the thread, Hooper.

that was the biggest flag for me as well. one of the tenants of chase systems is you ALWAYS follow the chase, but i think that's because most people who play chase systems don't know shit to begin with. you could probably throw some common sense into the equation. i'm probably not going to do it but i know where you're coming from in wanting to find something mindless to follow.

Is it weird that I read that thread about five times, and I'm still a little confused?

What the hell does the 5/2 thing mean?

It sounds like we're looking for a three-game series, where the home team is favored at least -145 in the first game. We'll put half a unit on it, if that loses we go one unit the next day, and if that loses two units on the finale. Is that about it?
