    My first attempt at betting the bases

    So I've never bet baseball before unless you count playing around with the daily fantasy stuff. I was halfway decent with the fantasy thing so now I'm going to try my luck with the more traditional way. This thread might make great fade material fairly soon lol. If anything I just hope to provide some entertainment as well as maybe some winning plays! BOL to all

    GL banderso9 If I was going to make a play on this game it would be on TB, however I feel much stronger on my 2 plays today PIT & NYM and just sticking with those. Pick and choose your spots carefully remember with so many games it's just like at a casino take a break sometimes when you're cold regroup and come back there will be another game coming up very soon!

    Thanks for the insight chron. I like the mets tonight as well. I'm just waiting to see how my first play pans out before my next move. I want to try and keep this thread honest also and only post plays I've actually locked in.

    I had a lot of succes with Archer in fantasy and I feel like the advantage goes to the home team on opening day. New season, clean slate ect.

    Yeah I'm watching live and he's throwing all over the place. He seems to be settling down now. Hopefully the high pitch count doesn't get him pulled early.

    Not much you could do with your 1st bet Archer didn't have his best stuff today was unable to command the fastball and he couldn't consistently hit the bottom of the strike zone, and below... which was being called consistenly a strike all game. Stroman was on his game and was hitting his spots consistently tip your cap to him and move along to the next game banderso9 you're not going to win them all!

    So after batting 0-2 yesterday I'm going with Boston -110 vs Cleveland. I think this one is going to come down to a coin flip and I like the sox chances more with Price on the mound.
