The Royals aren't winning the World Series....The Mets are losing it.

KC is a good team but I'm sick of listening to the announcers give them credit for "putting pressure on the opposition" and "playing fast".

Clippard had one job to do. Throw strikes. He put two runners on base without making KC even swing the bat.

Then Murphy did his best Buckner impersonation and whiffed on a routine grounder. The Royals scored a run without even hitting the ball out of the infield.

This is more of a case of KC not penetrating up and the Mets just giving it to them.

The Mets have blown two games late in this series that they should have won.

KC is a good team but New York is choking.

Teams that perform however it may be under the bright lights and dont cave to pressure are teams that deserve more credit then "this team gave them it" Any game you watch you can always use that excuse. KC has proved more times then enough that they are a great championship team throughout this playoffs. The mets have struggle big time with adversity, anytime they make a mistake they dont recover. KC makes a mistake and they recover every crucial time. Hide your bitterness

Gotta give credit where it's due Dof. This Kc team is so good on about every level and just NEVER stop that tenacity is part of their success. Muts in '86 kinda same way they were a team that won so many games late in 9th if you remember and fun team as well. KC has made some mistakes here as well just rebounded better and aside from starting pitching are clearly the better team.

Let's also give credit to KC starting pitchers which was biggest question mark for them coming in. Cueto obviously capable of doing what he did in gm 2 but hasn't shown it much since arriving. But getting quality starts outta Volquez and Young was HUGE for them.

KC is so much better than the Mets. This series is over. Mets don't have enough hitting to win 3 in a row

This series is not even CLOSE to being over. It reminds me of the 2004 Red Sox-Yankees World Series, in which the Yankees won the first three games. Boston Red Sox still had a good chance of winning the series because Pedro Martinez and Curt Schilling were the two best pitchers in baseball and were not going to lose TWO STARTS in the same series.

It's the same situation here. The chance of Matt Harvey and De Grom losing two starts in the same series is virtually nil. It's not going to happen. We're definitely going to a Game 7.

Unfortunately, road teams lose Game 7 over 90% of the time.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that most of Cueto's starts came in 'garbage time'
He is performing in the games that he was expected to perform in.

comparing matt harvey to pedro martinez? lol

    clueless

matt harvey had 1 great year, settle down. the guy hasn't proven anything. i'll take 10 pitchers in mlb over harvey right now kershaw greinke scherzer price sale bumgarner king felix wainwright...some others i can't think of right now. all those guys are 100% better than harvey.

Pedro had one of the greatest single season pitching performance OF ALL TIME
Matt Harvey is a 25 and 18 pitcher.

Peter Moon is out of his mind.

    See what I mean?

A good throw there and Hosmer is out by 10 feet and the Mets win.

    Instead they choke it away.

Dumb move by Collins cost them I think. Should have stuck with Harvey going into 9th to begin with and not fukk with Harvey's head/mojo. Once he made the bad decision you gotta stick to your guns though in my opinion and not let Harvey talk you out of it.

These announcers need to shut up about how great that base running was. It was dumb base running.

Any type of average throw there gets him out by a mile.

It was only smart of Hosmer was banking on the Mets choking again....

Familia's flimsy, flippant forays fail to fan foes.

    They're finished.

    Lol. Like clockwork.

I think this Mets team has had more f\*\*k ups in the World Series than any team I can ever remember.

    Congratulations Royals. Well deserved.
