I'll vouch. I'm guessing Flipper had no idea who Matz was when he looked at the line last night but decided to fade the Mets again anyway.

So you are saying you are a Mets fan?

-Only a met fan/homer would respond to Flipper with that kind of obvious answer, besides you have done some serious posting in this thread so just wanted to confirm you are an actual Mets fan. Everyone is a fan of a wager obviously.

No, not a fan of a any team in any sport. I was emphasizing that my points on the Mets in this thread are from an unbias perspective, unlike the many Mets fans that have posted.

But if mets win the World Series it's a lock that either cespedes or Murphy will return. If they loose then odds go down 70% that one returns.

Either way way as a mets fan if either of them walk for bigger contracts , it will mean someone is overpaying and I don't mind them leaving . The pitching is just that good.
Zero chance they resign Cespedes ... They won't pay him 20+ million for 5 years. Not when you have 3 legit aces to sign eventually

The Mets and Cubs will be in contention for the next few years, having said that it doesn't mean much. You could've said the same thing about the Angels, Rangers, Athletics, Tigers, Dodgers, Nats, Reds, Pirates over the span of the last few seasons and how many championships did all those hyped up teams win combined in that time frame? Zero. They could both fall off next season, especially if the injury bug bites and it usually does with power arms and guys on peds. The Red Sox and Giants have both shown in recent history that you can be a championship caliber team one year and bring back almost the same roster and not even make the playoffs the next season.

He's going to end up being another horrible signing by the Angels.

They love aging veterans with low on-base percentages.

Patty rarely has a clue or says anything useful, but he's right.
Cespedes and Murphy are both gone in less than 10 days.
Hopefully it's with a ring and a "Thanks for the memories" billboard from the Mets.

I'm actually a Braves fan at heart. And yes sedway I knew who matz was a long while before last nights game. Just because I don't like baseball doesn't mean I don't research. Baseball is probably one of my worst sports.

College basketball, college foots, NBA, NFL, tennis, then MLB. NCAA basketball is a sport I can say I am probably better than most on this site at.

If game 1 is a preview of what the rest of the series is gonna be like make it a best of 11 because this is baseball heaven.

The fact that you would rather watch a basketball court full of moulyans instead of a baseball game let alone the World Series makes perfect sense now after your idiotic original post.
Just an idiot who can't win a bet that's all.
Next time just follow me, you'd be 9-0 in your last 9 baseball bets.
Take the Mets game 2 and get all your losses back. Tell em Benny sent you.

Would have been great to see the Jays back in the WS again. Jays and Cubs would have been a crazy series.
