I don't bet baseball much but I thought I'd share some info on the Phillies. This team has alternated W's and L's in the last 9 games. Coincidentally or not every time they win they are 1 game under .500 and the next game when they are at .500 , they lose. I don't have any historical evidence to back me up, but being a Phillies fan I've noticed that over the last few years this team always struggled to win the game that would put them over .500. And it seemed that when they would get that elusive win that they would run up 6 or 7 W's in a row.

So my advice is to pick against the Phils today. If they win switch to betting on them over the next week or 2.

Well psychological issues notwithstanding, I think Atl is a decent play today. Carlyle has been good at Triple A this year, I don't see him getting shelled. If he doesn't, Atl will have a strong chance of winning, so I think they have value at even odds with Philly.
