    2015 MLB playoffs

    Using this to track my picks this postseason. Looking to make 10+ units this post season. Follow, fade, talk shit, whatever you want. One unit=$100.

    Keuchel is a sinker ball pitcher on short rest for first time in career. Short rest will only lead to less command. For a guy that relies on command and not velocity, this will be a significant disadvantage for him. The yankees will lay off pitches out the zone, and will hit the mistakes that he makes.

    Tanaka has been underrated in the media all year. He's the only guy I've seen recently that had an elbow injury, and didn't have tommy john (deep down he is a samurai warrior). Astros have lived off the homerun all season, and will be chasing his split finger down all night. Tanaka will only have to get this game into the 6th inning, the yankees have the best back end of their bullpen in baseball. Not to mention it's easier for these bullpen guys to come into their home crowd, and dominate.

    Astros bullpen has been sub par, and the Astros only chance of a win is an absolute gem complete game by Keuchel. Neshek and Gregerson and not going to come into a pressure packed situation in Yankee stadium, and come out on top.

    If Yankees can get Keuchel's pitch count up, chase him out by the 6th, this game could get out of hand. I'm not buying the "Astros are relaxed heading into Yankee stadium". They were leading the division all year long, and choked down the stretch. Now they have to go on the road into Yankee stadium for a one game playoff?? They should have locked up the division a long time ago. Astros have choked and today is the end of their season.

    Cubs and Cardinals is a no play. I love love love Arrieta and the Cubs... just not worth the Juice. I have the Cubs future to win world series at +1100... so I'm definitely rooting for them. As for the dodgers/mets... only lean is the over, but might also be a no-play. I'll post if I decide to go with it. I'm no professional capper, just a long time ball player, played D2 college ball, and I watch a lot of baseball. All these plays come from gut feelings.

    Just a quick tid bit...Grienke dominated the mets last start. Aside from the 2 solo HRs... Mets did not get a runner in scoring position off him the entire game. DeGrom pitched well, but pitched out plenty of tough spots. I think the Dodgers were 0 for 8 with runners in scoring position? Anyways.. Dodgers at home with Grienke pitching and its -150? I think its a steal. DISCLAIMER: only other game i made a write up for I lost ;-)
