Texas Rangers -103
…runs and hits all over the place, with every situation becoming more tense as the Rangers are slowly taking over the AL West. Prince Fielder is coming off two double decker homeruns, while the rest of the Rangers propelled past the Astros with 14 runs on 16 hits over Dallas Keuchel and the bullpen. Like I said, I don’t know if you’ve been watching but the Rangers team energy is high and at almost even odds – it’s too hard to pass up here. At home vs a rookie pitcher who hasn’t won since July 29th and is 0-2 with a 4.97 ERA in his last five starts, with C.Lewis coming off a two-hit shutout. I do want to point out the total though; The UNDER is 7-16-2 when the Rangers are coming off a game scoring more than 9.5 runs at home, and playing at home over the last three seasons (and 16-9 64% SU in the situation). This reason I point out the total though is because I want you to stay away from it. Reason being is because Colby Lewis is 12-2 on the OVER at home this season… and 22-9-1 when coming off a win himself and pitching at home. Contradicting trends, do what you want. Can’t hide that Colby Lewis is 4-1 in his last five home games, and like I already mentioned pitching a two-hit shutout in his most recent performance (vs A’s) should have this line a little steeper. I like the Rangers here to carry over and make the best of the Rookie pitcher. Take the -103.
