    Recap....wife got Beltre, Andrus, Fielder, Stubbs, Deshields autograph all on Ranger baseball which already has Choo and Martin Perez. She made it on TV FOXSports local cast before the game talking to Prince Fielder and actually got a picture with him! My voice is completely gone today and I probably drank too much at the game but had a blast.

    I wanted to make the video longer and a little before first pitch but she was busy getting autographs so it was at the last minute. I thought the final was going to be 4-3 in extras/overtime but I was wrong. I gave three quick shoutouts to JayVegas/JJ/Opie.

    I wanted to give more shouts....3D, Vegas39er, KVB etc but the game was about to start and I am not a professional video maker like JJ Gold .


    We are considering the trip to see Minute Maid next week for Friday's game.

    Blue I am actually looking at buying a home in Vegas (like in the next month) I know it sounds crazy because I've never even been there before but the homes are so affordable and legalizing what I do anyway is probably smartest for me long term.

    I love it here though besides the heat, the food is amazing (even fast food they have higher standards), the people are amazing, anything you need is close waterparks, public education, hot women, medicinal herbs, jobs, baseball, flea markets, fresh fruit stands, best bbq in the world, etc etc.

    The traffic is hard to deal with where I live...just getting groceries can be life or death. Texas drivers are terrible...texting, they will dart in and out of traffic like the own the entire state. They literally have perpetual road work in this state....always expanding the roads due to deaths is my opinion. This would be my only complaint in my two years here.

    I've stayed for a few months in Temple, Midlothian, and now lived in Arlington 1.5 years. Spent time in San Antonio/Port Aranasas as well and have always enjoyed myself.

    Vegas is where I will be moving though like I said simply due to the laws and the affordability of homes there. I also like that it is closer to a little nicer beaches. Hopefully my wife will go with me but that is still up in the air!

    I haven't been to Houston yet and I would love to go next week to see the game but I doubt I will be able to afford it. I hope you enjoy it Blue.

    Actually Jay that isn't a joke unfortunately! I am 100% disabled (again judge me all you want sbr but until you have walked my path stfu)...weird as that may be I am on a fixed income now. I don't have an education that I can fall back on to make six figures a year. I have a resume that says I was a machine gunner and can throw a grenade.

    Sure I can go back to college but at 35 that's not something I want to do with my life now. I did at 23 when I got out of the Army the first time but not now. I am content to be myself and Vegas makes selfish sense for me personally.

    Wife is a nurse and she can get a job there immediately but she is not a gambler! and I respect that. She doesn't share the same interests to live in vegas as I do and I respect that. Your thread sparked a good discussion between the both of us. We like to read the forums together at times.

    Good luck with your new adventure in Vegas and getting the Mrs. to move out there with you. I went through the same thing with my fiance...she's lived here all her life and was very reluctant to uproot.

    It's actually quite neat how similar our situations seem.
    My wife, same job & same disinterest in gambling.
    I would love to move to Vegas for purely selfish reasons.

    Anyone who mocks someone who is openly disabled deserves what I'll do to them!



    The one big difference is the military background. I'm not crazy & have always been a big pussy when it comes to guns & the army. Guys like you have a certain type of courage & insanity that I will never have.

    The fact that you guys watch my thread together is the most flattering thing I've heard all month.
