A team on the cusp that will pretty much leave you alone instead of a team still rebuilding with a bad front office and manic depressive media that will poke holes in you the whole time. Easy choice.

Love the trade for the Brewskis! GoGo was going to be an expensive resign after next season and Fiers is pushing 30. Two expendable guys to trade for a boatload of decent prospects. As for the 'Stros, great trade for them as well. Already added Kazmir, should be able to hold off Angels in AL West.

I find it ironic that the team that didn't want to pay the full salary for their 2014 first round pick because they were concerned about his medicals is the same team that traded for Gomez just one day after the Mets claimed the same thing. Mets dropped the ball here.
