    Who trades for Hamels?

    Rangers and Dodgers have been the front runners but the Astros and Giants have made a big push of late as well.

    Hamels is a former World Series MVP and would be a major get for whoever trades for him. The Phillies are seemingly years away from contending but it's crucial they get a haul in return.

    .they know people will come if they just are good enough to make the playoffs every year sad but it's true management knows this so they just do enough dodgers are cool again stadium packed every game. A crazy feel when the dodgers are good it's electric at dodger stadium would be nice if they actually did come through and get cole be hell of a 1,2,3

    A little known fact, Hamels was actually signed to a lifetime contract by the Padres when he was an infant. But back in 2012 Hamels was asked if he'd be open to returning to San Diego by Jon Heyman. Hamels scoffed at the suggestion and criticized the fan base for only supporting the team in the middle innings.

    Later he backtracked and blamed Padres ownership instead of the fans. It was found out that while he lived in San Diego and rooted for the Padres during the winning years of the late 90's he was a Dodger fan all along. He even says that he considers the Dodgers his hometown team
