who will win the AL East

Yankees - getting naka back could help them break outta slump

Rays - they have some pitching but line up is weak

Orioles - probably the preseason favorite but 6-13 on the road

Jays - wont be in the race

Redsox - team just dont care this yr

Red Sox. And majority will laugh, and thats why majority are on here following other peoples opinions to try and make a dollar. These are the people who listen to everything that ESPN tells them. (Like James Harden is an MVP , or JJ Watt is the best player in football, when he doesn't move a point spread by a half point and can't get his team into the playoffs. Yea, but all those sack numbers and dances are so cool ).

Sox have played their worst ball of the season, been mixing and matching the lineup, SP troubles, etc. THERE ONLY 5 GAMES OUT, at the all star break and the hottest team in the division.

Now. The Yankees? Please. They;ve hit their high, dont have the SP depth this year
Jays - Love them, love the lineup, but just dont have the pitching. Boston just outpitched them most recently in Fenway winning 2 of 3, that would happen again in October.
Rays - Worse record in baseball last 3 weeks, don't see them overachiving yet again in the second half.

I played Red Sox to win AL Pennant at +3600.

Cannot believe I got those odds.

It's Royals or Sox if you ask me.

Vegas with Yankees and Astros ahead of them is all wrong

Plain and simple. Teams in this division are terrible and will be irrelevant come September.

That's a misconception, they are just all very equal. There will be as many or more .500 teams in the east than there will be in the "toughest" division in baseball..whichever people consider that to be..prolly NL Central

Jays need an arm and a RP but they can't afford to dump Daniel Norris. Kid is gonna be a super star in the league......fuggin blows they lost the other young kid for the year with the torn Achilles...was looking forward to him this year....at least it wasn't his arm....gun to my head I would say Yankees Jays or Red Sox but jays and Sox which neither have a go to arm to go out and win a must win game???? Who you gonna roll out in that situation? Buckholtz? Estrada? Buhrle? Rodriguez? No clear ace on either squad and same for the Birds.......soooooooo I would have to go Yankees

Top 4 teams in the least are 11-29 combined in the last 10 games. Red Sox are on an 8-2 run. Watched Nova pitch on Sunday and he can't find his ass with both hands. O's just got swept. Rays and Jay's are dumpster fires.

sucker bet, yankees are a second half team and the red sox really aren't. Plus their pitching is awful even if you let them "regress" from how historically bad it has been already.

a healthy yankees team wins the division, tanaka/nova/pineda/warren > any top 4 from the other clubs. back end of the bullpen is elite (miller/betances), if ellsbury can stay healthy, him + gardy at the top of the line-up will be a problem for teams in the second half.

If red Sox can deal for a front of the rotation guy they win this division, if not I have to say yanks....

Wasn't but a month ago everyone was burying the sox and calling for ferrells head. Too much talent on that roster, I tried to explain to my buddies it was early and they will be in the hunt, just need to pony up the spects and get hamels

Yanks might just have the best pitching. Tanaka missed several starts and so did Nova. If they are solid they could win it.

Let's revisit this thread after the trade deadline. If the Dodgers don't land Cueto I'd guess he will end up in the AL East. As for which team, I don't know.
