    I've noticed one thing about you Austin is that you are extraordinarily narrrow-minded in your convictions. There are plenty of sharp guys who have BoDog accounts. As a matter of fact, on any give weekend for football, Bodog will have -105 on sides for a number of games...they may have the best number on a game as well...they may even have certain prop bets or other wagers not found at different books. They are certainly a necessity to have. The worst thing you can do is to restrict yourself from certain books....

    Yes Bodog is not suffiicent by itself....generally speaking, they are a full juice book, they don't offer overnight lines for most sports, low limits can be a problem for some gamblers...but by and large having a BoDog account should increase your ability to be a successful.

    Remember the biggest advantage of online sportsbooks with brick and mortar sportsbooks is that you can be at multiple places at one time. Line shopping is critical and BoDog can help you get the best number....

    Sorry but anyone who says you don't need a BoDog account (assuming their bets are lower than their posted limits) is giving out some very bad advice. It's one thing if you bet $10,000 a game and only a select few books take your bets but a completely different thing to isolate yourself from other books.

    its fact

    lets say you go 55-45 in a season $100k bankroll - $3k/game

    55 x $3000 = $165000
    45 x $3000 x 10% = $148500
    ======================
    $16,500 - net

    55 x $3000 = $165000
    45 x $3000 x 4% = $140,400
    ======================
    $24,600 -net

    So you made an extra $8100 just by simply reducing your juice. Plaxces such as Matchbook I have avg 3% over a season. It can be done and as I have shown it is very rewarding. Why pay more and throw money away?

    Still wanna play at bodog?

    You are still missing the point of what I am saying...to be a successful sports bettor you need all available option. Matchbook is great....but if you can get a full point off the market price you are putting yourself in an equally advantagous position. I wouldn't discount BoDog just because you have to pay -110. Like I said, there are a lot of sharp guys who use BoDog out there.

    Long before reduced juice online books were part of the sports betting experience, bettors routinely paid -110 and still did it for a living and were successful. Sure reduced juice is nicer but sometimes you have to consider all aspects of betting.

    Come football season, BoDog usually has some great pointspreads on underdogs because most of their clientele are betting favorites.

    BoDog may not be in the same league as Matchbook, Bet Jamaica, or The Greek, but its still a book whose lines you should keep an eye on.

    I wasn't trying to disagree with your point about reduced juice. I was just merely pointing that BoDog isn't completely useless.

    I use bodog for my transactions because I am only 19 years old and when I tried to use The Greek, they denied me. Does anyone know of any other good baseball sportsbooks?
