strange since most of the players are the same. maybe the whole team got some good lozenges similar to what arod was taking.

there's no way a team can just improve this much without peds imo.
Astros in the AL; Cubs in the NL.

yeah but the difference is the cubs have some new pieces. houston basically has the same team. but i do like the cubs offense. they're gonna be good for a long time if they can stay healthy. but the history says the cubs are cursed.

HOU doesn't have the same team. Maybe pitching wise. But not the lineup.

Kuechel and McHough are STUDS !!!

They are just hitting as a team right now...but don't think they can keep that up. Other than Altuve they don't have much. Guys like Jed Lowrie , Colby Rasmus , Luis Valbuena, and George Springer are raking it right now..but don't see that continuing. They do have 2 AWESOME starters , Hernadez is above average and a really good bullpen <!-- / message -->

Jed Lowrie is now out until after the all star break due to thumb surgery. I was worried if he would be able to hold up when they signed him.

Not a surprise, stacked with young talent. The over 75 wins was my top O/U.

Cashner is about to get his 6th straight strikeout and Keuchel just gave up his first run of the season.

Just got it. Astros need to get this together.

    HUGE improvement over last year.

2-3 new players (Valbuena, Lowrie, Rasmus) as staples of the order can make a big difference. Ask the Giants. 2-3 players can renew a whole lineup.
Don't need superstars. Remember Scutaro in '12 for example.

they're just no name utility players. replace those you've mentioned and they'd have the same impact.

if you're gonna insult my intelligence at least get "your" and "you're" correct. fukking idiot!!!

anyway, why don't other teams gather bunch of utility players that are batting under .250 and put them in their core lineup? players you've mentioned aren't impact players. regression will take place. either that or they are taking some undetectable good shit. to say that these no name acquisition is the reason for their early success tells me, YOU are way too ignorant.

they added Gregorsen to the bullpen.

Added Jed Lowrie. Marinisik or however u spell he cam up thru the farm if i am not mistaken.

    Gattis is new.

    Colby Rasmus is new.

many of these players are young so its natural for them to be better this year than last year (Keuchel and McHugh)
Carter and Alltuve getting better too

Can't believe this team go 3 earned runs off of Craig Kimbrel and ended up getting relieved. Astros sound scary.

+ the bullpen has been better this year. That was their main weakness tbh. That rotation is very solid.

8 in a row! 16-7. Ties the franchise record of best start ever with 1980 team that made the NLCS.

Another win....another bump. 17-7....9 wins in a row.....5 home runs tonight.....and I haven't bet on them one fukking game during this streak. You would be rich if you tailed the Astros and Angelito the last couple of weeks. Afraid to jinx them now.

I disagree, nice play at +177. I have this game priced closer to +150, line is skewed by winning streak.

profits thinks anything with + sign means it has value

i doubt he has even watched one game during the Astros 10 game winning streak
