    Tigers -117 Saturday (12-6 YTD)

I know Chris Sale is a horse who thrives in day games and he's had success against the Tigers.

Now here's why I'm going against the Sox. They're averaging 2 runs per game in their six road games and their bullpen has a 5.73 ERA in those games. If Sale doesn't go the whole game, the Tigers will get their shot. And even if he does, something tells me Sale will be a bit tentative and tight in this game because of all the drama and fighting the last time he was in this ballpark, where he hit Victor Martinez with a pitch and came within 5 mins of Martinez ending his career and possibly his life.

I'll give you another inside tip. I don't care if it's the 1977 version of Nolan Ryan on the mound, you don't fade the Tigers at home on a Saturday afternoon. You just don't do that.

Ballgame. Sanchez gave up 9 earmed runs vs a team that was hitting .179 vs righties on the road. Sometimes there are no answers, only questions.
