So I am trying a new thing for MLB this season. I've recently started to study more "line reading" and want to apply the theory to MLB this season to see how it works. As with everything, there are no promises of rags nor riches - only hopefully working hard to find the lines to steer clear of because of the public percentages that seem to often lead to epic failures on sure things.
So the application of this theory will be based solely on reading the public percentages on sides and totals and where the lines move. As such, most of these plays will be made probably within 30 minutes to an hour before a game starts to see where the money and lines are moving.
I will venture out on my own on occasion in this thread - those will all be noted with the picks in purple.
All other picks will be based on the Squaresville premise that square plays can be turds depending on the percentages and line moves, etc and will be simply posted in bold black.
Good luck to your and yours this season. Smash the books.
