That being said, White Sox are max 3rd best in the AL Central. Lets say in this 3 team division, At best for chicago, it's 35%/35%/30%. The line at +250 is breakeven @ 28.5%, which means at best you have 1.5% edge. Clevelands best line is +240 (breakeven 29.4%) , Detroits is +225 (be=30.8%). That means that if only these three teams could win the division, Chicago is actually the worst bet of the bunch. Lets pretend KC only wins the division 5% (in actuality, this is probably too low) and they are much worse than the Sox. you lower the odds to 33%/33%/29%/5%. That makes the edge on your sox bet = 0.5% edge. Again, best case.

Anyone who bets on the White Sox this year in any sort of futures market set by vegas or an online since February book doesn't understand the term "value;" books have sucked them dry.
