I don't think Shoot Yourself has a good enough bullpen, leetreaper.

I'm going with the Toronto Blue Jays, as they take America's pastime, and Seaweed enjoys the day by starting numerous celebratory threads.

Shoot yourself needs to get better at advancing baserunners

    First to third on singles

Its the little things that will prevent them from getting anywhere

    The Giants are MLBs dynasty

the Blue Jays much like the Mariners are the type of teams that would be extremely hard to beat in the playoffs. It's just getting there that could be the issue.

When i say that for the Blue Jays i mean if you take the current depth chart and everybody is healthy in a 7 game series i would like their chances against almost anybody.

Problem is for the Blue Jays is staying healthy... much like the Colorado Rockies they have a few players who have a tendency to get hurt.
    (Bautista and Reyes)

I like the top 3 of their rotation though Dickey, Buehrle, and Stroman. I think those guys are all very tough to hit and they give you completely different looks from one another so its tough to go from facing a knuckle baller to a crafty Lefty who works fast as hell to a young black kid who throws high 90's and has a bulldog mentality and he is not afraid to throw at your head.

it takes fukkin balls to throw at somebodys head.

you can't teach a pitcher that he either has it or he doesn't.

Stroman has that same mentality that Roger Clemens and Nolan Ryan had.

As a pitcher you want the batter to feel as uncomfortable as possible when he steps into the batters box. That is your plate.

I do not disagree with your analysis bear.

I do think Beuhrle and and RA Dicksmith are seriously overrated.

Above all, as a Jays fan, I KNOW Toronto will not win a world series until I am dead.

So like, not for the next 7-8 years. At least.

aside from that, i don't think shoot yourself stands a chance. they'd have to make a move for power, but what pieces do they have? they can't sacrifice pitching and a power hitter wouldn't make up for the bottom of their order, which poses a liability as it is. they still have a ways to go.

SF Giants repeat Lincecum is growing his hair out & smoking weed again. Cain seems alright after his Tommy-John surgery. Giants pitching will be all-guns ready this season, Bye bye fat-panda. Hello Casey McGhee

    They won 2, 92 and 93.

The AL was a different monster. Only 2 divisions.

And I was young as fuk for both unfortunately.

under 84 wins is free money.

After Pablo's departure Gians now have the weakest line-up in MLB.

definitely not better than any team in the NL Central or NL West....

    maybe the Mets?

    Maybe the Phillies ?

    maybe the Twins?

thats it man forget about anybody in the AL East or anyone in the AL West.
