I don't know Dane, if you break down the line up.

Altuve on top will give you .295 bottom, .315 high
    Not much power 6 to 8 homeruns, 55-60 RBI, 80 + runs scored, 35 SB's.
A bona - fide table setter.
Valbuena is not going to hit much more than .240, but will hit 15 homers, if not a little more.

Three to six in the Astro order can and more than likely will hit 100 homeruns combined.

#3 - Gattis has hit 21 and 22 homeruns first two years, can improve on those numbers.
#4 - Carter - Chris Carter hit 37 homeruns last year, 29 in 2012, but, lots of holes in his bat, he's going up there swinging though.
#5 - Springer - Connecticut homey, seen him play as a kid, legit MLB power, hit 20 out last year, his rookie season
#6 - Rasmus - very sneaky pop, has hit over 60 homers the last 3 years combined, has hit over 20 homers 3 times in his 6 seasons.
#7 - Lowrie - will stabilize the order.

With the middle of the order you will not get average, you will get lots of power throughout.

As a fan, no repeat of last year.
    Too many ifs?

If Morales can give you consistant power at DH?
Is Hosmer that 33 homer guy, or is he a .290 18 homer guy?
What can Alex Rios give you production wise in that ball park?
    Can Moose hit over .240?

What can you really expect out of out the three 'V's
    Volquez, Ventura, Vargas.
Will Medlen bounce back from TJ surgery.

Can the holy trinity in the bullpen do it again?

    White Sox will finish higher.

I'm not sure.. i think they will win anywhere between 80-90 games. I think they will contend for a Wild Card spot again.

They remind me a little bit of the Pirates. With that bullpen you have to respect them. They have a couple young stars on the rise, play good defense and Duffy and Ventura have front end of the rotation stuff.

If you look at all the bad teams from last year the one common denominator was they pretty much all had rediculously bad bullpens. The Royals bullpen is about a dominant as it gets.

The key for the Royals like last year will be scoring runs.

IMO perhaps the most balanced team in the AL Central is the Cleveland Indians. It would not surprise me if the Indians won the world series. They can certainly crush right handed pitching and they have the ace for all the big games in the playoffs Kluber....and Salazar is probably going to be even better this year.

The Tigers might have the best line-up in baseball. They are going to be scary to pitch to with Kinsler, Miggy, V-Mart, Cespedes, JD Martinez and Avilia but they have some big question marks surrounding the starting rotation. Verlander can't afford to pitch the way he has the past 2 seasons if they are going to win that division again.

Funny thing is if you gave the Rockies Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels all the sudden they are a contender.

why do the Rockies refuse to pay for pitching?

The Rockies bullpen is full of gas cans.

Vegas should put a prop out

    Brandon Morrow
    +
    Josh Johnson

over/ under 300 innings pitched between the 2 of them.

i would def take the under.

neither one usually completes a full season without ending up on the DL.

    Phillies, Braves, Dbacks.
Weird, all NL teams. Only AL team projected to suck is Twins. And other NL teams in the mix: Reds, Brewers, Rockies.

Both of them are not part of the core anyway, one of the two stay healthy and productive and eat up innings, that's all SD wants.

Its going to be hard for the Braves to be too bad b/c of their decent starting pitching and dominant bullpen.

I try not to have a favorite team when it comes to MLB but i can't help but hate the Braves. I always have hated them ever since they traded Deion Sanders. Their fans just suck. Every fukkin redneck in south carolina has a Braves cap and thinks they are the best.

Its the worst place in MLB to see a game in the summer too. Hot and humid as fukk and the stadium is in the ghetto and traffic is a nightmare.

Nationals, Mets, and Marlins should all be better.

Royals regress this year and will be better next year.

Houston will not be in the bottom three and I will bet anyone ANY amount they like on that.

Atlanta, San Diego and the Red Sox.

Book that shit now you can probably get 1000 to 1.

Feels like there's about 5-6 NL teams that could be that bad, but only 1-3 AL teams with that "potential"

    Red Sox a bottom 3?????

    1. Victorino
    2. Pedroria
    3. H. Ramirez
    4. Ortiz
    5. Napoli
    6. Sandoval
    7. Castillo
    8. Vasquez
    9. Bogaerts

If Clay Buchholz has a bounce back year... Porcello pitches well, and Joe Kelly and Justin Masterson do their part they might be a contender.Masterson was good the year before last and Joe Kelly has good career numbers as well as bit of post season experience on his resume.

The one pitcher i think is terrible that they signed is Wade Miley. Brandon Workman sucks too...

But the one reason u cant ever count out the Red Sox is they will always be spenders at the trade deadline.

They have deep pockets and they will stop at nothing to put a contender on the field.

Twins (according to Baseball Almanac) have, by far and away, the best stable of studs that are in A or AA ball.
The Twins low minor system is freaking stacked, and if they keep them, will be a force in 2017 no later than 2018.

Yeah, the reason why the Nats won't win triple digit games is because their pitching in some games will be neutralized by the Kershaw's and Bumgardner's and the Matt Harvey's etc. etc. etc. of the National League.
