Wha is your favorite baseball movie?

I like Bull Durham a lot.

I watched a few baseball movies recently...the first being The Benchwarmers and Eight Men Out and also Bang the Drum Slowly obviously the latter two were considerably better. The Benchwarmers was really really bad....how can a movie be that dumb? Eight Men Out was good and so was Bang the Drum Slowly...but I still like Bull Durham the best.

I haven't seen the remake. I'm not a big Billy Bob Thornton fan, other than of course "Bad Santa".

I think he's a bit of a rooster, but I think he's a great actor. I'd recommend you see U-Turn - not only to you get to see Jennifer Lopez's breasts but you'll see a fantastic performance by him.

Actually, I may be wrong about that. I just went to imdb.com, and he has been in a lot of roles that I enjoyed. "Sling Blade" and "Friday Night Lights" I liked a lot, and he was pretty good in "Bandits" and "The Ice Harvest".
Maybe it is just that he is a "rooster". I've never seen "U-Turn", I may give it a look if I get a chance.

"Intolerable Cruelty" was, well, intolerable. He was actually decent in his role though.

Field of Dreams is my favorite. But I'm a sentimental sort.

I'm also a big Bull Durham fan. Laluche(sp?) is a classic character.

For example come mid-august/early september I'll watch a few football movies, I'll watch horror movies in October, Christmas movies starting from Thanksgiving to Christmas, etc...This is the time to watch baseball movies!

I'm suprised nobody mentioned "Hardball" yet.

It's about a guy who loses big gambling, and has to coach a kids baseball team in order to pay off his debt. Then he keeps betting during the movie.

A must to watch if your a degenerate
