    Yesterday's Red Sox Game

Yesterady I had Boston - 1 1/2 vs Baltimore and was sweating pretty hard until the 7th inning.

It started to rain moderately when Boston was up 1-0. Had the game ended before the 9th but counted as a win for Boston and not ppd, would I have lost my bet or would it be viewed as a push/candcel by the bookmaker (I'm with the greek). It would suck to lose money like that. Anyone have any experience with this. I will call em and ask today but curious what most books do in this situation. Thanks.

    buztah,

Run Lines and Totals must go 9 innings (or 8.5 if home team is ahead) to have Action. Therefore, all rain-shortened games are NO ACTION on the Run Line, regardless of which side you were on.

Even worse than the case you desribed is the guy holding an OVER ticket in a game that is like 15-4, and the umps call the game before it goes nine!

Thanks, LT. Indeed that scenario would be most unfortunate. Hope NJ does well for you.
