The price is chalky, but Atlanta’s Tim Hudson has been the best pitcher in baseball this year, while Florida’s Scot Olsen is allowing more than two baserunners per inning, so back the Braves.
The Braves have now scored 27 runs in the last three games after an 11-5 win here last night.
Tonight Tim Hudson takes th e hill in Miami against the Marlins, knowing he is 7-0 with a 2.00 ERA in his career team starts against the Fish. He is also off to a 4-0 start this year, with a remarkable 0.62 ERA and 0.93 WHIP! His counterpart for Florida Scot Olsen owns a 9.28 career ERA against Atlanta, and he is in rocky current form, with a 7.50 ERA and 2.06 WHIP.
With Atlanta 7-3 in their last 10 road games and Florida 3-7 in their last 10 games on grass, look for the Braves to beat back the Marlins here tonight
