The price is chalky, but Atlanta’s Tim Hudson has been the best pitcher in baseball this year, while Florida’s Scot Olsen is allowing more than two baserunners per inning, so back the Braves.

The Braves have now scored 27 runs in the last three games after an 11-5 win here last night.

Tonight Tim Hudson takes th e hill in Miami against the Marlins, knowing he is 7-0 with a 2.00 ERA in his career team starts against the Fish. He is also off to a 4-0 start this year, with a remarkable 0.62 ERA and 0.93 WHIP! His counterpart for Florida Scot Olsen owns a 9.28 career ERA against Atlanta, and he is in rocky current form, with a 7.50 ERA and 2.06 WHIP.

With Atlanta 7-3 in their last 10 road games and Florida 3-7 in their last 10 games on grass, look for the Braves to beat back the Marlins here tonight

    Play: Braves -160

yeahhh i agree. -160 is tough to lay down. may take RL and lay a unit on it cuz the fish are having some trouble hitting the RH pitchers. GL

I ate the chalk at -140, so it was a little less chalky, a bit more textured.

No, I cashed this and SAS within about five minutes, so that was two L's that turned into W's.

    Very nice job razz.

I thought we lost that fish game for sure, but Wickman finally ended up helping me out for a change.

He actually pitched pretty well, I thought. Did you see that single that Amezega hit?

I didn't watch this game at all. I wasn't even home when I heard I won this game. Hell, I wrote it off as a loss.

Here's a quick recap, from memory.

Wickman enters the game up 3-2, but there are men on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. He intentionally walks whoever he pitches to first. The next batter is Willingham, who sees about 10 pitches, and eventually strikes out swinging at what would have been ball 4. Then is Amezaga, and, because he is so fast, Chipper is playing waaaay in on the grass. Amezaga gets jammed on a 2-2 (I think) pitch, and pops it up about 10 feet behind 3rd base. Chipper and Renteria are helpless to get it. It was great. When he hit it, I was cursing. Anyway, Uggla was up next, and Wick threw a wild pitch and our slow ass catcher scored.
