    Salvador Perez

The guy is AWFUL. I know it has been discussed before on various threads, but I just can't bear it.

It looks like he is just sitting on an inside pitch on every at bat trying to pull it inside the foul pole in left EVERY time. He rolls over and hits SO many weak ground balls and then WALKS to first. Or he swings at three straight awful pitches and strikes out.

HOW ON EARTH WAS HE AN ALL STAR?

You do realize it's not all about what this guy does at the plate, right?

His leadership, defense and handling of the pitching staff is first rate. I'd give anything to have a guy like that behind the dish in Detroit.

I understand. But I also disagree respectfully. I think he is pretty nonchalant at times. He'll stab at balls in the dirt instead of getting in front of them with runners on base and just seems to not care at the plate, when running out ground balls, etc.... Maybe it's just me.

Seems he has handled pitching staff fairly well this year so, you're right there, I'd have to give him that
