How could you possibly not like or at least appreciate Mad Bum

Guys is 25 years old....TWENTY FIVE. He's pitching in his 6th major league season. He's pitching in his 3rd postseason. Guy had 4 BOMBS and 15 RBIS as a hitter. He doesn't run his mouth....he just does his job (sure he'll stare down a few guys but that's just his mean streak).

And he knows how to celebrate. What a special kind of player. SF is lucky to have him. Did I mention he's 25?! Think about your teams best young pitcher and then go look at how old he is and then think about what Mad Bum has accomplished already.

I loved the contract extension back a couple years ago.

I recall some people calling it a bit premature but the Giants look like geniuses now.

Enjoy it while you have him. He's a joy to watch.

Listen, he's a very good pitcher for the NL.

    He isn't any Kershaw.

Put him in the AL he's a 3.40-3.70 ERA type guy. These NL guys that dominate cannot do the same damage in the AL.

i dont like his body language and on the field antics.

he seems like he would be an asshole but he's a decent pitcher.

the same goes for Kershaw. Put Kershaw in the AL where he doesn't get an automatic out/K every time thru the lineup and his numbers will look a lot different

I said Bum is good. I'm not debating that.

However, he's no Felix, Chris Sale, hell even Jon Lester.

He's probably right on cusp of top 10 pitchers in baseball.
