Corey Kluber should win AL Cy Young

He pitches to the 2nd worse defense in the MLB hence his high BABIP of .319, the guy should be a 20 game winner at this point.

He has an over 10K/9 and the best WAR between all starting pitchers in majors.

Here is to hoping they don't give to Felix who pitches in Safeco

    You are joking right?

Felix has a lower ERA and higher K/9 on the road this season

No. Felix pitches in Safeco has a low BABIP, higher FIP xFIP and lower wins above replacement.

If voters arent squares, Kluber should win it.

I love Kluber, but think I'd give it to King Felix before him. One thing you have to take into account is that Felix has his team playing for the playoffs for the first time in ages. Felix also has the better ERA, WHIP, WAR, and opponent batting average.

According to baseball-reference, Felix has the highest WAR among ALL pitchers, including Kershaw. According to fangraphs, Kluber's WAR is higher...I guess it comes down to which one you subscribe to as the 'definitive' site.

    Also...using fangraphs,

    http://www.fangraphs.com/statsplits....=P&season=2014

If you look at the home/road splits...safeco is actually HURTING Felix's ERA/FIP because his numbers are worse at home, however slight. So saying 'he plays at safeco', is rather meaningless.

Indians might pass Seattle for the wild card... only 2 games back of Seattle and thats not counting the win against the Royals in a suspended game

He should be in the final three, that's for sure. Felix, Kluber, Mad Max. Just my thoughts.

Its about as close to pickem as I can imagine... I like the under 6.5 better than anything. Carrasco been on FIRE the last 2 months since he was put back in the rotation. Indians have been losing this type of game all year though, that game where you can really make up ground with a stud pitcher on the mound. If I bet either side I'd take KC, but love the under. 3-2 or 4-2 final, cant see it being much higher scoring than that

Felix will win it, then Kluber and Sale 2-3 in either order.

Strikeout ranking means nothing because he missed time on the DL. His numbers are actually pretty comparable to Felix: 2.20 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, .205 average allowed, 198 strikeouts in 168 innings vs. 36 walks! Seems Cy worthy to me. (although he won't beat out Felix)

With his club trying to get a wild card spot Felix gave up 8 runs against the Toronto Bombers in 4.2IP

His ERA is now at 2.34. Kluber pitches Saturday afternoon against Tampa Bay in his last game of the season.

    Corey Kluber's line in his last game was 8IP 0ER 5H 2BB 11K

Indians' win gave him a final 18-9 record. 2.44 ERA. Felix will pitch this weekend as well. Hope Corey gets it.
