The Twins lost two out of three to Tampa Bay at home, but look for them to rebound here vs. Jeff Weaver, who has had trouble getting American League batters out for a few years now.
Jeff Weaver has proven to be better suited to pitch in the National League, which is a problem considering he is now a member of the Mariners!
Weaver was rocked in his first start of the season, as he was all of last season in the American League until finding success with St. Louis over in the NL. As for the Twins, Ramon Ortiz has put up some impressive numbers, and will be backed by an offense that is capable of putting a lot of runners on base.
The Twins need a strong road showing here after a disappointing home set with Tampa Bay, and Weaver should provide that opportunity.
