    Yusmeiro Petit has retired 44 consecutive batters

    He's 1 batter away from tying the major league record of 45 held by Mark Buehrle. Not an easy thing to do in any era. Would be a nice part of history for a guy who lost a perfect game in the 9th inning last year.

    I remember this guy was pure crap in 09 and he was facing the Phillies. Phillies were favorites and I bet on them. The penetrating guy then pitches a perfect game.
