Explain this thoroughly for me please..

Alright so I've bet the Rays and the spread was Jays -0.5 here locally where I live, the game was under official protest, the game ends 4-5 Jays. Who looks at this game whether the protest is won or not? should i keep my ticket still? Serious replies only please!

I don't know how to explain it.

A protest was called in favor of the Rays. Rays runner was attempting to steal 2nd, slid back to first and was called safe by the ump and no review saying he was actually ruled out was called. rules say once the pitcher is on the rubber and the batter is in the batters box a review cannot be called however the review was made anyway and the runner was called out so Rays manager argued it and was put on official protest.

Again i can't explain these things so i hope you got what i was trying to say

No harm in keeping your ticket, we already saw a protest upheld with the Cubs/Giants game
its doubtful anything will become of it but you never know

So if they win the protest, the game will be played again? Or at least from that point?

the game would play all over from that point with the runner still on first.

Wow thats crazy. I guess we'll see, but in terms of what the books will do, I really dont see them going back on what is already graded but like labones said, no harm in keeping your ticket
