Do we finally see two pitchers win the MVP in the same year? Felix Hernandez in the AL and Kershaw in the NL? Both guys are having historically great seasons. Both guys have basically been unhittable this year.

Felix is #2 in WAR at 5.96 (Trout is #1)
Kershaw is #4 in WAR at 5.87

Felix crushing the record for most consecutive games of 7IP and 2 ER's or less.
Kershaw had the 41 consecutive scoreless innings earlier this year

With very little hitting this year, no obvious offensive player who is running away with it. Obviously Trout is a strong candidate in the AL.

What does everyone think. Probably a reach, but could happen.
