I plan to do the same thing. Just finished school and decided to make a living sports investing. It's very achievable to double your roll every 3 months. So let's see, we got 36 months... $100>200>400>800>1600(1 year)>3200>6400>12800>25600(2 years)>51200>100k in 2,5 years.

Theory and practical application don't always get together. One thing for sure: you have to control your emtions when losing and be in check with your expectations in the long run. And the pressure of doubling your roll every 3 month after you built it up (theoretically) to 10k (e.g.) could very well be a false expectation.
In theory doubling 100 to 200 should be same as doubling 100k to 200k but I think (not that I experienced it) that the emotional factor kicks in after you reach 100k so it will be more difficult, I assume.

Your optimism is blinding you. Good luck but deciding to be a professional sports bettor right out of college is possibly the dumbest move you can make, unless you've already been doing it for years and have been profitable, which I doubt is try given the way u speak.
My advice: get a real job because reality is gonna smack u in the face and its not gonna be pretty. To say you'll have no emotional attachment and its so easy speaks to the immaturity and tough road u will face.

Alright rule out the luck factor but in to long run you will have deviation(s) from the expected value, which will affect your roll as well. To went bust in the past and know how to handle those situations doesn't protect you from variance.
What I am just saying is when you really want to do this for the long run you better lower your expectations cause I think doubling your roll every 3 month no matter how large your roll will get are not realistic.
