Should The July 31st Trade Deadline Be Pushed Back?

Read an interesting article about it on Foxsports. Gives a good history of whee it has stood in the past, and how many times it has been changed.

I actually like it where it is. I already don't like the idea of potentially having several new players on a team for about a month before the playoffs. I don't think it totally represents the team that earned its way into contention. I've always been more of a fan about the deals that are done in he offseason. If they did anything with it, I would prefer they roll it back to June, and keep the waiver wire transactions as is.
