    Wainright is a FOOL!

Did AW really give up meat balls for Jeter? Can't wait to see a NL team get screwed in a game 7 on the road and reference the ASG.

Jeter is great and great for the game..but this guy wasn't worth grooving a pitch to, if he's so damn good he should be able to hit the ball no matter where it's thrown in the strike zone.
Wainright forgot that his team is in the chase or something, why is it his job to make Jeter's ASG extra special?

Some of those All Stars were playing for their postseason lives, it's unfortunate the NL starter set the tone in a negative way. Imagine if Wainright did that last year and the team got wiped out by Boston, think he'd be kicking himself for not taking home field a little more seriously? Considering STL is a dominant home team?

Was a soft play and Miggy made him pay.

It was a 4 seam center cut 87 mph. Its just a mile an hour below an average mlb fastball. Jeter still has to hit a round ball with a round bat and determine whether to swing or not in under .2 seconds. The ball also has to find a hole.
