this is a fukking retarded move.

i swear to god being a gm is not very hard, its 330 ft to the right porch. you either get a sinkerballer or a strikeout guy

No he is not. And he is perfect for Yankee Stadium because he is a GROUND ball pitcher.

He IS a groundball pitcher and he has 93 strikeouts vs. 20 walks.

He is not as bad as his record, the bigger concern is now facing American League lineups.

Youre right, he is this year. Has been an extreme fly ball pitcher most of his career tho.

McCarthy has done nothing in his career....he has pitched in the al and nl and is a confirmed stiff.

He has been a groundball pitcher this year, my bad.

He also has a H/9 around 11 and gives a homerun every 10 flyballs. Imagine this at yankee stadium.

They traded a reliever for a starter hoping to get more innings from McCarthy and save the bullpen.
