    Sunday $$$ MLB

    6/22/14
    Giants @ D’Backs
    Recommendation: Giants -148
San Fran snapped a 6 game losingstreak with their 6-4 win over Arizona on Saturday night. They’ll look to makeit 2 in a row today behind Ace Madison Bumgarner. Bum is likely headed to hissecond straight all-star game next month, behind a 2.85 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. Heis nearly always lights out, and given the struggles the Giants have been enduring,he should be very focused today.
Bumgarnerhas also pitched well in his career against the D’Backs. Against Arizona, hehas a 2.71 ERA with 76 strikeouts in 86 innings pitched. The Giants have hadtheir struggles across the board the last few weeks. That actually bodes wellfor us, as this price would be much higher if not for San Fran’s recent slump.
MikeBolsinger takes the mound for Arizona in place of Bronson Arroyo who was justplaced on the DL. Bolsinger was called up at the beginning of the season andthings did not go at all well for him. In fact, he went 1-2 with a 5.70 ERA. Hewas then sent back down to AAA Reno. With Arroyo’s injury, the D’Backs werebasically forced to make this move. Bolsinger is strictly a number 5 guy in therotation at best. He’s actually more likely a career minor leaguer.
This isthe prime spot for us the get back on the Giants as they win 2 in a row. We’llgladly take the -148 because the line in this exact same matchup will be muchhigher next time around. Take the Giants -148.
    Dodgers @ Padres
    Recommendation: Dodgers -137
The Dodgerstook care of business against Tyson Ross last night. Doing the same againstEric Stults should be a piece of cake. LA goes from San Diego’s best pitcher toits worst tonight at Petco Park.
Whatcan we say about Eric Stults? This southpaw has been one of the worst pitchersI’ve seen all season. He’s 0-6 with a 6.56 ERA in his last 7 games! His pitchesare up in the zone, his command is way off, and his stuff really isn’t good tobegin with. Stults will pick up his 10th loss when this one’s overand if Bud Black knows what’s good for him, he’ll get this guy out of therotation immediately.
Hyun-jinRyu takes the ball for the Dodgers. Ryu has been absolutely dominant againstthe Padres. He’s allowed a total of 1 run and struck out 13 in his last 2starts against them. He’s also 5-1 since coming back from his injury lastmonth.
I won’tget into too much detail about how bad the Friars offense is, because we allknow about that. The only downside for the Dodgers is how shaky their bullpen hasbeen. They gave up 3 runs in the 9th to lose on Friday, beforebouncing back last night. Still, there’s great value with the line where it’sat. Have fun watching the Dodgers take batting practice off of Eric Stults onyour Sunday afternoon. Take the Dodgers -137.

Nitronett, sry about the late reply. I don't want to ever go against Tanaka. The Yanks surprisingly are flying under the radar a bit right now. They're playing good baseball right now. That being said, don't ever want to lay this kind of juice. Either run line them or pass. JB
