Mets vs. Padres
Under 7
If you’re a baseball bettor you undoubtedly know that thePadres offense in anemic. They are hitting .218 as a team collectively! CarlosQuentin is basically their biggest power hitter. Quentin is hurt all the time, but forget all that. When Carlos Quentin is your power threat you have someserious problems. San Diego didn’t do themselves any favors in the drafteither. They didn’t draft a big stick when they desperately needed one. In June, the Friars are batting .146 and averaging 1.7 runs per game. This team is anabsolute disaster. The lone bright spot in this organization is Andrew Cashner. This guy is an absolute stud. Cash gave up only 2 hits in 6 innings in his laststart, his first since coming off the disabled list. With how bad the Padres offensehas been, the Mets haven’t been much better. New York has lost 2 games in a rowand scored only 1 run in each contest. Bartolo Colon will be on the bump forthe Mets, and he has also pitched exceptionally well as of late. Putting thesetwo struggling offenses together, and adding two pitchers who are currently ingreat form, I look to the under in this game. Take the Mets-Padres UNDER 7.
