    Thursday MLB

    6/12/14
    Blue Jays @ Orioles
    -113
It was only a week ago that the Blue Jays were the hottestteam in baseball. They were putting up incredible offensive numbers and hittingthe ball out of the yard at an alarming rate. Toronto has since cooled off, butthe matchup tonight with the O’s looks like the perfect spot for them to getback on track. Mark Buehrle has been the biggest surprise amongst startingpitchers this season. He leads the league with 10 wins, and sports a veryenticing 2.04 ERA. He also is 5-0 with a 1.47 ERA on the road. We all know thatthe Jays hit home runs like there’re going out of style, and expect them to teeoff tonight against the young and inexperienced Kevin Gausman. Gausman, with anERA dangerously close to 5.00, is making only his second start of the season inplace of the injured Miguel Gonzalez. He has very limited major league experienceand will not be ready for the big bats that he is going to have to face. Wealso take into account the fact that Manny Machado will be suspended for his idiotic“throw of the bat” fiasco against the A’s. Take the Blue Jays -113.

When I originally wrote this write up last night and placed my bet, it was at -113 at William and Hill. Tough night for the Jays.
