    Tepesch must be complete trash

    Texas just took 3 out of 4 in dominant fashion at Detroit, and now they face gascan Correia and the Twins coming back from a long west coast road trip, where they were just swept by the Giants in SF and hardly scored at all. Plus, it's during the day.

    Yet the line's -105?

    Thinking the same thing. He pitch in the 4's in the minors... Willingham is back tomorrow... really wanna take Texas but line is confusing.

    Yeah, Vegas thinks that most home teams probably should be favored tomorrow. It's Memorial Day, do remember that! Most stadiums will have decent crowds, and lots of homers playing their teams, I still think Rangers take care of business. They are on a roll, now if correia goes out & throws a shut down performance, so be it, twins did just get killed in San Fran, & Twins gotta win sometime, I'm very suprised that their .500. K. Gibson, a starter for the twins was on local radio here a week ago, he is from Indiana, he was talking about the amazing chemistry this Twins team has.

    Got me bro, he had decent start vs twinks last year. The gascan shut tex down a few times tho. Still since fat boy went down tex been mashing the ball while twinks went cold out west..ive only looked at 2 gms now and both look like gms what you would prob consider the square side looks like the right side..

    Logic would say Texas wins because they just beat Detroit. There is no free lunch. The little I have learned is to not bet obvious plays where odds look funny. Maybe Vegas knows gas can wil have a sea of a strike zone and will mow down the Texas lineup.

    Rangers lose when they are supposed to win and vice versa. Gun to my head Minny wins this.

    Gotta remember though... books aren't trying to put out what they think is the accurate line... they want to put out the line that they think will get equal action on both sides and profit off the juice (well in the case of moneylines, they want more action on the favorites than underdogs but you get what I'm saying)

    Agree, though I'd say if that were the case, they'd make Minnesota +110 minimum. At a -105 open, the vast majority of the $$$ is going to be on Texas.

    I don't think I've ever been as perplexed by a baseball line as I am by this one. Usual signs all point to Texas. Their offence is clicking, facing a below average starting pitcher, Twins first game home after a west coast road trip, Twins bats are cold, Tepesch decent pitcher, etc.

    I wouldn't have been surprised for the line to open at Tex -140.

    the line could have opened at -160 minny because you know the books will find a way to catch people off guard. There's a very good chance these lines are closely guarded so people hop on the wrong team or the home team or... Whatever, sometimes what is obvious actually makes sense so I'm sticking with Texas big
