    Uh Oh...Andrew Cashner

Guy has one of the more abnormal throwing motions in baseball and it seemed like only a matter of time until he got hurt. Seeing the Padres just placed him on the DL with an elbow injury this might be something very serious.

Horrible... Who's next? Tanaka? Maybe pitchers should be taught to pitch with mechanics more like Cliff Lee/Greg Maddux/Mark Buerhle/Jeff Suppan. Control>Velocity. Maybe pitchers need steroids to perform/recover like Nolan Ryan/Roger Clemens/Pedro Martinez. Players are more afraid now of getting caught using PEDs so flame throwing starting pitchers Stephen Strasburg/Matt Harvey/Jose Fernandez/Brandon Beachy/Tony Cingrani/Cory Luebke are now more than vulnerable to injury. Either allow pitchers to use PEDs or implement better pitching coaches who really know what they are doing!

A lot more sliders and splits in the knew generation of pitchers. The torque and stress on your arm to snap these slide pieces along with the extension to keep the ball down with these splitters puts tremendous pressure on the elbow.

Fastball, cut fastball, change up guys are much more likely to stay healthy. Being able to repeat a motion that has been biomechanically broken down using science to ensure it is optimal for the long term is super important.

Look at Strasburg. Even at San Diego State anyone who has ever pitched at a high level or coached at a high level knew he was always out in from of his arm with his landing foot and his hips and upper body were fighting constantly to catch up.

Get out of your bed and put your landing foot down while keeping your hips closed and arm angle way back behind your ear. This was his starting position. His arm never caught up with his body. The stress leads to UCL issues and decelerator muscle problems.

I had Tommy John. Here it is:

Asian pitchers dont get hurt bro.

only reason these guys get Tommy John is they have poor mechanics and or dont ice there arm and do the proper exercises.

Jose Fernandez mechanics were among the worst ive ever seen. Its just painful to watch his delivery.
