Baseball, the ultimate grind. Time to get 'er started. No limits on what I may play this year. I am simply going to be looking for winners, whether it's a side, total, 1st five, RL, team total, whatever. My only goal is to show profit every month of the season. +1.00 unit. +10.00 units. +0.10 unit. As long as it stays in the black and pays off the bills. When time allows, I will try to include some short notes about the picks.
3.31.14: ATL-MIL Over 7.5 [-110] Teheran vs. Gallardo. One of the teams I followed fairly closely this Spring was Milwaukee and I saw quite a few bullpen meltdowns. That's always a plus when playing an over. Gallardo is a solid pitcher, but he's had shaky 1st starts dating back three years to open the season. The one solid start in that mix, the bullpen helped blow it and run up the score. The key will be getting to the bullpen in the 6th or 7th to allow for more run opportunities. Teheran was good this Spring, but that was also the case last year and he struggled in April.
Wanted to track this as the Grand Salami may be my betting strategy this season. My book was jacked up, so never got this on. Intertops had it at 133.5, but closed it before I could get in. I saw 130.5 at 5dimes.
Easy win on the under yesterday. Going to continue this project through the weekend. So far, I like the idea of one large bet like this for the day vs.multiple smaller ones.
What I am doing is making one side play on the game total I like most as well. Today: MIN-CHI OVER
Yeah i also took this. Looks like another sad year as a cub fan. There offense is worse than i thought. They really have no power in this lineup. Also a bunch of guys that are too passive at the plate.
