You are right, it was a mistake.
This particular game between Texas at Houston was the lone game played on Mar. 31 2013 and for some reason I logged it as an exhibition game instead of a regular season game because it was played in March.
I will update the records right now. The loss was only -7.405u

4-game chases may work on -110 lines like basketball spreads because you know how much you're going to lose if you happen to lose a (D) bet but for ML chases losing a (D) bet may be detrimental and irrecoverable. For example in 2010 (which was a down year but still managed a small profit), we lost a series with the Yanks that cost us 33.5 units. Had we gone 4 games and lost we would have incurred a significant deficit. By the way that (D) bet would have won though but too much risk.

True there's a significant increase in risk for every game you add to a series. I use labby lines so it doesn't worry me as much but there could definitely be a scenario where you lose around 60 units or so in a series, as rare as it would be. Cisco (the most successful baseball bettor I've seen) uses a 4 game chase for all of his MLB plays which is why I was asking. Wasn't sure if you had done a comparison of the risk/reward for a 3 game vs. a 4 game chase.. but you've shown the system profitable through back testing which is enough I guess. Haha, BOL.
