Stephen Drew a New York Met?????

The Mets have reportedly offered him a contract.

This signing would be huge for the Mets giving them another much needed quality hitter.

Mets line-up would look something like this

    1. C. Young
    2. S. Drew
    3. D.Wright
    4. C. Granderson
    5. I. Davis
    6. D. Murphy
    7. J. Lagares
    8. T. D' Arnaud

not the most potent in the world but S. Drew would be a major upgrade at SS over Ruben Tejada.

You mean the quality hitter that has batted 230 over the last 2 seasons combined?
The one that had 124 k's for 13 measly hr's last year while batting in the most loaded lineup in MLB?

Cmon BB, step your game up. Guy's a scrub.

That's a big improvement if NY can pull it off. Drew/ Wright/ Grandy is a monster 2-3-4

Our pitching is above standard, if we can get some offense we can probably finish the season with 85-90 wins.
87-75 I predict and we make playoffs by wildcard

Wild Card is possible for every NL team except

    Cubs
    Padres
    Marlins

i could see Mets in playoffs if Wheeler and Colon pitch like they did last year and the team stays healthy.

Baseball JJ and tennis JJ are both always way off.
Wright probably cracks the top 10 for the most underrated player in MLB.
Guy has NO ONE in front or behind him for half his career.
Plays in a stadium where you have to hit it a mile compared to across the street at Yankee stadium where they have check swing and broken bat Hr's.
Ideal team leader/ clubhouse guy, never had his name in the same sentence as steroids, never seen his name in the headlines for anything other than baseball.
